Maybe you know "爱蛋蛋" well enough, otherwise, "stupid" is not appropriate word to be used in here. It's good to point out someone's mistakes when you see them. But to help the person feels better and more convince, I would say "an easy to make mistake" or "a careless mistake" if I were you.
