苗栗h 後公司寮古港
港原名「公司寮」，有O民等耍合夥在地B寮捕~而得名；
民四十三年始易名「港」。港的_l，
始於清雍正八年(一七三０)h人移ㄡ猃社十九年後，
基於事上的需要，港_l成I海各地物集散中心。
港的地理位置，在砂兖N年g，迭有更替；康熙末年，
港O於溪洲，Q樯穷^港，後因秋冬季性L的Lgc堆e，
港口日u淤\，遂w至後城南的溪口北岸，嗣後，
再w移至F址。公司寮港河面，未淤e前，
夜艋鹜明，「寮港w舟」因而被列槲羧彰缋倬爸一。
至今，辛⒋a^，海天n茫，一片空寂，已o年水R，帆{林立的盛r
