Job Title: Financial Controller-Asia Pacific
Location: Shenzhen, China & Hong Kong SAR
Relationship
Reporting functionally to Vice President of Finance in the US Headquarter and operationally to General Manager C Operations in China, the position acts as the regional controller to all finance, accounting and IT function in accordance with GAAP and the company’s Policy & Procedures.
Major Responsibilities
* Review and approve regional & consolidated reports per corporate schedule.
* Provide analytical leadership to achieve company goals.
* Ensure product-costing control in accordance with IAS standard including risk & benefits analysis.
* Liaise with external auditors to facilitate statutory audit.
* Supervise the Accounting Team in China and provide regional guidance to Accounting Team in HK and Japan.
* Review and improve current workflow of the Accounting & IT Departments.
* Provide IT support to HK Office.
* Manage tax efficiency in of manufacturing plants & sales offices in Asia-Pacific region.
* Prepare financial statements.
* Control payable & receivable as well as cash flow and inventory level.
Key Requirements
* Degree in Accounting or related discipline.
* A second degree of MBA preferable.
* Minimum 12 year’s experience in finance & accounting of which at least 8 years are in managerial level and 4 in PRC manufacturing & commercial operations.
* IT backgrounds a definite credit.
* Proven track record in working capital & business process improvement.
Strong experience in product costing & analysis.
* Familiar with GAAP as well as Accounting, Taxation Forex laws in PRC.
* Strong leadership, pro-active, well-organized and have a sense of urgency.
* Good communication skills & outgoing
* Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Mandarin.
* Position holder is expected to work in HK Office every Mon and then in China Plant at Shenzhen from Tue till Fri.
Compensation & Benefits
annual package is around RMB800k, plus other benefits
