每当春天来临(大年初二后的一个月)的这段时间，生活在云南怒江峡谷的傈僳族群众，都要到有温泉的地方去洗浴。洗浴的人们十分讲究文明礼貌，男女之间彼此尊重，他们用圣洁的温泉水洗去一年的污秽，迎来吉祥。此种风俗被称为“澡堂会”，距今已有一百多年的历史。
