1932年出生于日本鹿儿岛,鹿儿岛大学工学部毕业。27岁创办京都陶瓷株式会社(现名京瓷Kyocera),52岁创办第二电电(原名DDI,现名KDDI,目前在日本为仅次于NTT的第二大通讯公司),两大事业皆以惊人的力道成长。
事业成功之馀,稻盛和夫更创设「京都赏」,每年表扬对人类社会发展具有卓越贡献的人士。此外,并出任以年轻一辈经营者为招收对象的「盛和塾」校长,培育新世代经营者不遗馀力,其经营哲学被日本企业界奉为圭臬。
主要著作有《稻盛和夫的哲》、《企业家成功之道》、《追求成功的热情》、《敬爱天人》、《愣头青的自传》、《稻盛和夫的应用哲学》、《你的愿望一定能够实现》等。

Biography
He graduated from Kagoshima University in 1955. In 1959, at age 27, he established Kyocera Corporation, which has grown into a multinational high-tech conglomerate employing over 30,000 people, supplying a wide range of products including cellular phones and cameras.
In 1984, he founded DDI Corporation (currently called KDDI), which is now Japan's second largest telecommunications network.
