水东镇是电白县政府所在地。在电白县金碧海景花园大型园林式楼盘元旦于电白县大会堂开盘之际，茂名市汽车行业协会现组织各会员单位联合举办“2009动感茂名汽车巡回展暨车模摄影大赛（电白）”。新年节庆、楼盘开业、车模演绎、音乐演出的的人流效应叠加，再加上媒体和网络的宣传推介，将为参展单位营造一个汽车品牌及企业形象推广良机。

1、开幕式：1月1日9：30；
（1）茂名市汽车行业协会会长杨梅讲话
（2）茂名市汽车行业协会名誉会长吴寿炎宣布车展开幕
（3）参展单位负责人共同剪彩
2、“凯美瑞杯”汽车模特摄影大赛：1月1日举行。
3、现场抽奖：参观者凭抽奖券抽奖；奖品由车协及各参赛单位提供；
4、专题音乐（歌舞）演出：地点：舞台；时间：1月1日上午。
