由英皇影业有限公司耗资1500万港币的特技爱情喜剧《虫不知》，经过一年多的筹备、拍摄到后期电脑效果创作，慢工出细货下终于制作完成，并安排在7月21日隆重公映，成为暑假档期最为期待、最有心思创意的港片之一。
