丹巴----一个正在角逐“中国最美的地方”的中国农村(组图)
为庆祝《中国国家地理》创刊55年，也是继大香格里拉专辑――“给中国最美的地方划个圈”后，《中国国家地理》杂志社将与全国媒体联合推出“中国最美的地方”全国媒体联合评选大型活动，旨在着力体现中国的地大物博贯穿“人是自然之子”的理念把最美的中国自然和人文呈现给世界。
2005年10月还将在北京举办“中国最美的地方”大型颁奖晚会.
2005年4月由众多网站推荐的丹巴正式角逐“中国最美的地方”！

丹巴县地处青藏高原东南缘，四川甘孜藏族自治州东部，大渡河上游，系大渡河畔第一城，也是嘉绒藏族发祥地之一，有藏，汉，回，羌， 满，彝等15个民族。县境内蕴藏着极其丰富的旅游资源，由于地质地貌结构独特和嘉绒藏族悠久的民俗风情，历史文化形成了绝无仅有的自然风光和人文景观等珍贵的旅游资源。境内有稀有野生动物，植物，古色古香的寺庙佛塔，独具风格的嘉绒藏寨和古碉群，源远流长的民俗风情，藏族歌舞，锅庄。墨尔多山是西藏，青海，四川，甘肃等地藏民信教群众崇拜的圣地；新近发掘的中路古遗址，石棺墓葬群，把人类在丹巴的活动历史上溯到五千多年前，遗存的古石雕群是先民们的建筑杰作，成为研究少数民族历史文化的“活化石”；东谷河风景区被誉为“天然盆景”，党岭山。莫斯卡草原，藏寨风情，歌舞，服饰使人留连忘返，天然石英“壁画”令人称奇。
